Pick up point Glasgow (Day 1)

Our pick-up point can be any hotel, Airbnb, station, or the airport in Glasgow. We will come and pick you up.

Departing from Glasgow, we travel north across a historic geological boundary that spans the length of Scotland. As we enter the Highlands, the scenery changes swiftly and spectacularly—rolling Lowland fields give way to sparkling lochs, dramatic mountain ranges, and rich, green glens that define Scotland’s wild heart.

Glencoe Mountain Ski Resort (Day 1)

Glencoe Mountain Ski Resort is Scotland’s oldest ski centre, set in a dramatic Highland landscape of rugged mountains and wide-open views. In winter it offers skiing and snow sports, while in warmer months it’s a popular stop for scenic views, photography, and enjoying the wild beauty of Glencoe from above.

Fort William and Eilean Donan Castle (Day 1)

Our journey continues to Fort William, a welcoming Highland town set beneath Ben Nevis, the highest mountain in the UK. You’ll have free time to enjoy lunch and explore at your own pace—whether that’s trying local cuisine, strolling through the town, or discovering the area’s history in a local museum.

We then travel through the scenic Great Glen, passing the dramatic Five Sisters of Kintail and the iconic Eilean Donan Castle, with planned stops for photos and short breaks to take in the stunning Highland scenery.

Arriving on the Isle of Skye ( Day 1 )

After crossing the bridge onto Skye, we follow the island’s dramatic coastline to the village of Broadford, set beside a scenic bay with stunning views of the rugged Cuillin mountains. You’ll stay here for two nights, giving you the flexibility to enjoy your evenings at your own pace—whether exploring the Isle of Skye or nearby surrounding areas.

Choose to dine at a local restaurant, savour regional flavours, or experience a traditional music session. How you spend the evening is entirely up to you.

Sligachan Old Bridge ( Day 2 )

The Sligachan Old Bridge is one of the Isle of Skye’s most iconic landmarks, offering breathtaking views of the Cuillin mountains. Steeped in history and folklore, the bridge is a popular photo stop and a favourite starting point for scenic walks.

Set in a dramatic Highland landscape, Sligachan Old Bridge provides a peaceful yet striking setting—perfect for photography, short strolls, and taking in the raw beauty of Skye’s rugged scenery.

Neist Point Lighthouse ( Day 2 )

The Neist Point Lighthouse is one of the most dramatic and iconic viewpoints on the Isle of Skye. Perched on towering cliffs overlooking the Atlantic Ocean, it offers breathtaking coastal scenery and unforgettable photo opportunities.

A short walk leads to panoramic views of rugged cliffs, crashing waves, and open sea—making Neist Point Lighthouse a highlight for nature lovers and photographers seeking Skye’s wild, untamed beauty.

Dunvegan Castle ( Day 2 )

Dunvegan Castle is the historic ancestral home of the Clan MacLeod and one of the Isle of Skye’s most significant landmarks. Set on a dramatic rocky outcrop overlooking Loch Dunvegan, the castle combines rich history with stunning natural surroundings.

Visitors can explore elegant rooms, beautifully maintained gardens, and enjoy scenic views across the loch. Dunvegan Castle offers a fascinating insight into Highland heritage and is a must-visit stop on any Skye journey.

Portree ( Day 2 )

Portree is the vibrant capital of the Isle of Skye, famous for its picturesque harbour lined with colourful houses and fishing boats. Set against a backdrop of hills and sea cliffs, the town offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and local charm.

Portree is an ideal stop to explore local shops, enjoy fresh seafood and Highland cuisine, or simply relax by the harbour while taking in the island’s unique atmosphere. It is the cultural and social heart of Skye and a highlight of any island visit.

Old Man of Storr & Kilt Rock ( Day 2 )

The Old Man of Storr is one of the Isle of Skye’s most iconic natural landmarks. Rising dramatically from the landscape, this striking rock formation offers breathtaking views and is a must-see highlight for visitors to the island.

Nearby, Kilt Rock features sheer cliffs resembling a pleated kilt, with Mealt Falls plunging directly into the sea below. The viewpoint provides spectacular coastal scenery and excellent photo opportunities.

Together, the Old Man of Storr and Kilt Rock showcase Skye’s dramatic geology and raw natural beauty, making them essential stops on any island tour.

We return to the hotel in the evening, allowing you the flexibility to enjoy your second night on the island at your own pace and according to your preferences.

Enjoy a relaxing stop at Fort Augustus, located at the southern end of the legendary Loch Ness. Visitors have the option to join a scenic boat trip on Loch Ness (price not included), offering beautiful views and the chance to experience the loch from the water.

If you prefer not to take the boat trip, enjoy free time to have lunch, stroll along the Caledonian Canal, explore local shops, or simply relax and take in the Highland surroundings. Fort Augustus offers a pleasant and flexible stop, catering to all preferences.

Pitlochry – Famous for Whisky Ice Cream ( Day 3 )

Pitlochry is a charming Highland town well known for its scenic setting, Victorian architecture, and its famous whisky ice cream. A favourite stop for visitors, Pitlochry offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy this unique local treat while exploring the town’s attractive streets and independent shops.

F.A.Q
How many passengers can travel together?

Ans : We prefer a minimum group of 5 people. Our prices are fixed per group and remain the same whether the group has 4 or 7 people.

Can we change the route if we want to?

Of course, this is a private tour. Our guide will be with you for 10–11 hours, and you can choose where you would like to go. Please ensure the driver can return to Glasgow after the end of the shift.

What kind of dress and footwear should it be?

Dress in layers with a waterproof jacket, and wear comfortable, waterproof walking shoes or trainers. Scotland’s weather changes quickly, so be prepared for rain and cooler temperatures.

What kind of food can we eat during the journey?

Since it’s a day trip, having a light lunch is the way to go! You’ll stay energised, avoid that sleepy feeling, and get to soak in even more of the amazing scenery. Let’s make the most of every moment!

What is the best time to start our journey?

Let’s kick off our journey as early as possible, right after breakfast—ideally between 8 and 8:30 am! Starting early is super important because the Highlands get really busy during the summer, and we don’t want to miss out on any of the fun or beautiful sights.

How I can book the accommodation or AppsGo will book for us ?

Guests are welcome to book their own accommodation. Please note that an additional charge will apply to cover the driver or tour manager’s daily allowance and related costs.

Alternatively, you may arrange accommodation for the tour manager, which must include breakfast and be provided as a single room.

If preferred, we can arrange accommodation on your behalf at no extra service charge—accommodation costs will simply be added to your booking for convenience.
